Located in Monifieth, on the northern shore of Tayside, 6 miles east of the city of Dundee, this elegant and comfortably appointed Victorian Manor House with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms is an ideal place to stay when visiting east Scotland. Ashlea is being lovingly restored to its former glory by hosts John and Ros Whellams. Individually decorated luxury bedrooms with ensuite shower-room or private bathroom. Breakfasts both Continental and full Scottish/English. All meals are prepared using fresh local produce, so do take the opportunity to enjoy the optional evening meal.
With extensive views over Tayside, invigorating walks along the sand dunes, two courses on the local Monifieth Golf Links, and the famous Carnoustie International Golf Links nearby, and with Glamis Castle among other attractions just up the road, Ashlea Manor house is the ideal place to use as the base to holiday in the Central and Eastern highlands.
Single occupancy is £30pppn for the twin room and £35pppn for the double rooms.
