There is also an on-site café which serves delicious freshly cooked breakfasts, lunches and evening meals seven days a week - meaning you can relax and let someone do the cooking for a change. The café also has a selection of brochures and leaflets and the friendly and knowledgeable team will be more than happy to help you get the most out of your break in this beautiful corner of Scotland.
Whitshiels Caravan Park makes an ideal base for exploring the charming village of Langholm, southern Scotland and the Scottish Borders. Langholm is only a short walk away and is brimming with fascinating history, natural beauty and a wealth of wildlife. Cyclists will love the quiet country roads and forest routes and with 14 beautiful waymarked walks to choose from, walkers are spoilt for choice. You can purchase the Langholm Walks leaflet from the Langholm Initiative on Buccleuch Mill. Alternatively, if you enjoy fishing there is quality fishing spots and reasonable prices provided on the swift flowing rivers Esk and Liddle.
