Getting there from the Information Centre
From Dumfries Tourist Information Centre go south along Whitesands. Turn right at traffic lights until you come to T-Junction signposted A710 to New Abbey. Turn left onto A710, through New Abbey then the hamlet of Kirkbean. About a mile after Kirkbean signpost to Sotherness turn left. We are the first house in the village on the right. (Total distance from Dumfries 15 miles).
Getting There by Railway
From Dumfries Station take taxi to Whitesands Bus Station. Take 372 bus to Southerness. We are the first house on the right in the village, a few yards past the bus stop.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer take A75 towards Dumfries. Turn off at roundabout to Castle Douglas. From Castle Douglas take the Dalbeattie Road. From Dalbeattie take the road to New Abbey (A710). After the hamlet Mainsriddle turn right towards the sea and Southerness. turn left at the ruined tower then right at Loaningfoot cottages. Upon entering Southerness we are the first house on the right. Office next door to house.
