8 West Tankerness Lane - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Kirkwall T.I.C. go out of Broad Street on to Junction Road. West Tankerness Lane is the first turning on the right and number 8 is on the right hand side.
From Stromness T.I.C. take the A965 to Kirkwall, turn right at the first roundabout and carry on to Great Western Road. West Tankerness Lane is the second street on the left, and number 8 is on the left.

Scotrail from all Scottish departures to either Thurso or Wick or Aberdeen.

British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney).

NorthLink Ferries from Aberdeen or Lerwick to Kirkwall. NorthLink Ferries from Scrabster to Stromness. Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope. John o' Groats ferries from John o' Groats to Burwick (May - September).
