Sandyhills Bay Leisure Park - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Castle Douglas Tourist Information Centre take the Dalbeattie Road off the roundabout. Follow this road until you reach the outskirts of Dalbeattie. On entering Dalbeattie turn right onto the A710 Solway Coast Road. The park enterance is on the right just after Colvend Golf Course.
Getting There by Railway
From Dumfries Railway station take the A710 Dumfries/Dalbeattie Solway Coast road. Park entrance is on left at Sandyhills Village.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Prestwick Airport take the A77 to Ayr then onto the A713 through Dalmellington, New Galloway and Parton towards to A75 at Castle Douglas (approximately 45 miles from Ayr). In Castle Douglas take the Dalbeattie road off the roundabout and follow this road until you reach the outskirts of Dalbeattie. As you enter Dalbeattie turn right onto the A710 Solway Coast road. Park entrance is on the right just after Colvend Golf Course.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer/Cairnryan take the A75 euro-route towards Dumfries. Go into Castle Douglas and at the roundabout in the town take the Dalbeattie road and follow it until you reach the outskirts of Dalbeattie. As you enter Dalbeattie turn right onto the A710 Solway Coast road. The park entrance is on the right just after Colvend Golf Course.
