From Dumfries follow signs for Stranraer through town then A711 to Dalbeattie, through town to T junction, turn left on A710, Solway coast road for 4.5 miles.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Glasgow Airport take M8, follow signs for Carlisle via M74. Leave At Beattock via 701 or Lockerbie via 709 to Dumfries then A711 to Dalbeattie through town to T junction, turn left on A710. Solway Coast road for 4.5 miles.

Getting There by Ferry

From Stranraer or Cairnryan. A75 for Dumfries to Castle Douglas through town to roundabout then A745 for Dalbeattie, turn right at first crossroads, after traffic lights at Quarry Bridge onto A710 Solway coast road for 4.5 miles.
