The Airds Hotel and Restaurant - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

Take the A85 northbound out of Oban, heading towards Fort William. After approx 1/2 hr drive you will reach Appin. Turn left at Appin (signposted Port Appin and Lismore ferry). After 2.5 miles the hotel is on the left.

Getting There by Car

We are approximately 20 miles north of Oban and 27 miles south of Fort William. From Glasgow – take the M8 west, cross the Erskine Bridge and turn left onto the A82 (Crianlarich) and head north to Ballachulish. Take the A828 to Oban and in Appin turn right at the “Port Appin/Lismore Ferry” sign.
From Edinburgh – take the M9 towards Stirling. Follow the A84 and head towards Crianlarich (A82), carry on to Ballachulish. Take the A828 towards Oban and after 16 miles turn right at the “Port Appin/Lismore Ferry” sign. The hotel is two miles down this single track road and is on the left hand side.
