Getting there from the Information Centre
From Brodick TIC either take bus or by car turn left out of Harbour and stay on A841 straight to Lagg.
Take south Arran bus via Whiting Bay. Lagg Hotel is approximately 45 min by bus and is on the main road. Bus driver can assist.
Getting There by Railway
Glasgow Central Station to Ardrossan Harbour – 54 minutes. Trains depart from Glasgow Central to meet each ferry connection to Brodick.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. Take train to Glasgow Central get off at Kilwinning where you can pick up connecting train to Ardrossan Harbour. Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport. On reaching Brodick, take south Arran bus via Whiting Bay. Lagg Hotel is approximately 45 min by bus and is on the main rd. Bus driver can assist.
Getting There by Ferry
Caledonian MacBrayne operate the ferry services to Arran from Ardrossan Harbour on the Ayrshire coast and from Clonaig on the Kintyre coast, near the fishing town of Tarbert.
Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries - Island Hopscotch tickets are available which can reduce ferry costs if travelling to more than one Scottish island. We advise guests to make car reservations as early as possible to avoid disappointment, especially during the busy summer months.
