Getting there from the Information Centre
Coming into Selkirk on the A7, towards Edinburgh, you will pass through a set of pedestrian traffic lights after which the main road bends 90 degrees to the right. At this juncture, carry on straight down the hill for approx. 500 metres until you see the Glen Hotel on your left, just before the bridge over the River Ettrick. Getting There by Railway
From Edinburgh or Glasgow head towards the A7 and follow directions as per above (By Air) and then as per directions from Town Centre below.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh or Glasgow airport follow the signs for the A7 and head south towards Galashiels. Just 6 miles after Galashiels you will come to Selkirk. (See from Town Centre below for directions to hotel).
Getting There by Ferry
As Selkirk is central to the Borders, visitors should make their way to Selkirk and follow directions as below.
