Getting there from the Information Centre
From Tourist Office turn right onto the Esplanade follow road straight ahead out of the town. Follow A970 north to Laxo junction, then follow road to ferry terminal. Take ferry to Whalsay, take the road up past the swimming pool on the left at the shop, turn right down the track to a car park.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Sumburgh Airport take A970 north for approxiamately 25 miles. Take the turn off left (B9073) then back onto the A970 following signs for the North Isles, then take B9071 to Laxo. Take ferry to Whalsay, take the road up past the swimming pool on the left at the shop, turn right down the track to a car park.
