Birsay Outdoor Centre

Birsay Outdoor Centre is ideally located for spectacular coastal walks as well as close to Orkney's 5,500 year old Neolithic heartland which was granted World Heritage status by UNESCO in1999.
Birsay Outdoor Centre is situated in the northwest corner of the Orkney mainland. The centre offers comfortable, affordable accommodation in a stunning location. The Centre accommodates up to 28 people in 5 bedrooms,with family\exclusive rooms available. All bed linen is provided. There's a well equipped kitchen, dining area and small lounge, drying room and disabled access.
The Centre is open April to September, but is available to groups outside this period. Please prebook.
The Centre is in close proximity to a spectacular and varied coastline including Marwick Head, a RSPB reserve.
Nearby is the Brough of Birsay which is only accessible at certain states of tide. The Centre is an ideal base to explore the World Heritage site which includes the Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness, the tomb of Maeshowe and in Sandwick, the well-preserved village of Skara Brae.
