Brown's Hostel - Orkney - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Kirkwall T.I.C. go out of Broad Street, on to Castle Street then turn right on to Junction road and follow signs for Stromness. Turn left at the pierhead fountain and Browns Hostel is 50 yards on the right hand side.
From Stromness T.I.C. turn left on Ferry Road and follow the road round to the fountain. Turn left and Browns Hostel is 50 yards on the right hand side.

Scotrail from all Scottish departures to either Thurso or Wick or Aberdeen.
Getting there by Aeroplane
British Airways (UK) either from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Wick or Sumburgh (Shetland) to Kirkwall (Orkney).
Getting There by Ferry
NorthLink Ferries from Aberdeen or Lerwick to Kirkwall. NorthLink Ferries from Scrabster to Stromness. Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope. John o' Groats ferries from John o' Groats to Burwick (May - September).
