Getting there from the Information Centre
Take the number 11 bus(destination: Parkhall) from the Buchanan Galleries to the 1st stop on Woodlands Road or bus number 44 (destination: Knightswood, Cowdenhill Rd) from Central Station. Follow signs for our hostel up the hill.
Getting There by Car

From the M8 motorway westbound, take Junction 18, marked Charing Cross and Kelvingrove, & follow signs for our hostel. If travelling eastbound, take Junction 17, marked Dumbarton, then merge left onto the A81. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and right at the next set of lights and you'll find yourself on Woodlands Rd. Follow the signposts from here.
Parking outside the hostel is free at weekends and overnight during the week (between 6pm and 8am). However, parking charges apply between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
Getting There by Railway
Glasgow has two main railway stations. Train travellers coming from the north and east will arrive into Queen Street Station while those arriving from the South and West will arrive via Central Station.
Low level trains from Buchanan Street Underground leave every few minutes. Travel as far as Kelvinbridge Underground then exit right onto Great Western Road turning right again onto Park Road. Cut across Kelvingrove Park to the statue at the top of the hill and turn right onto Park Terrace. The hostel is on the left hand side of the street.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Catch the bus to the City Centre from Glasgow International Airport. Buses and trains also leave Prestwick Airport for the City Centre. From there, take the number 11 bus from Queen Street Station or the number 44 bus from Central Station to the 1st stop on Woodlands Road and follow the signs for the youth hostel.
