It is situated in the beautiful village of Strathtay which is between Aberfeldy (5 miles ) and Pitlochry ( 10 miles). Strathtay is a village of character with many lovely walks and has a general store and 9 hole golf course - Grandtully, the adjoining village across the River Tay, has one hotel which serves exceptionally good food. The cottage has full oil fired central heating and the bedrooms are double glazed - all electricity, oil and logs are included in the price. The accommodation comprises lounge ( with very comfortable quality suite, log fire, television, video, etc), living/dining room ( also with comfortable suite, television, etc), 2 bedrooms ( with new double bed and new single bed in one room and 2 new single beds in the other ), kitchen ( with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, etc), bathroom ( with separate shower cubicle )and cloakroom. There is also a small sunroom ( with comfortable chairs) with views over a very large, lovely garden to the rear. Watch out for red squirrels, deer and many different birds all of which are regular visitors to our garden. Woodside is an ideal holiday location in many ways - for example it suits those wishing to relax in peace and quiet and those wishing a more active kind of holiday with walking, fishing, cycling ( there are bicycles in garage), golfing ( there are many fine golf courses not far away ) and watersports all popular pursuits in the area. It is also an ideal base from which to tour by car with Highland Perthshire perhaps having the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. Woodside appeals to all age groups and for families there is lots of children's play equipment ( including table tennis table ) in the garage/garden.
