Welcome to our family run hotel situated in the town of Markinch approximately 3 miles from Glenrothes in the Historic Kingdom of Fife.

We are 45 minutes drive from the City of Edinburgh, 30 minutes from St Andrews the home of golf and 10 minutes from Falkland Palace. For the Golf enthusiasts there are 30 golf courses in the county of Fife and at least 100 within an hours drive, including the Championship courses at Carnoustie and Gleneagles.
The Town House Hotel, a former coaching inn has been upgraded over the years. The emphasis has been on traditional design, comfort and old-fashioned values and is run under the personal supervision of resident proprietors Harry and Lesley Bain.
