Ardbrecknish House

Ardbrecknish House is in a spectacular setting situated on the shores of Loch Awe with spectacular views towards mighty Ben Cruachan and Glen Strae. Loch Awe is 26 miles long, the longest freshwater loch in Britain, stepped in history from early man inhabiting the many visible crannogs to the time of Robert the Bruce and the infamous Campbells.
Ardbrecknish House is a 15th C fortified tower house and offers 10 self catering properties each sleeping between 2 and 12 persons. The facilities include a traditional local bar and restaurant, a games room where pool and Scottish Carpet Bowls can be enjoyed, laundry facilities and a children’s play area.
Being set in its own spacious grounds with direct access to the shore it is the ideal setting for family holidays. The adjacent boat yard offers boat and canoe hire with launch and mooring facilities. As well as record Brown Trout (31lb 12oz) and monster pike in Loch Awe, Ardbrecknish is well situated for sea fishing on Loch Fyne and Loch Etive, and game fishing on the River Dochart and River Orchy.
Ardbrecknish House is an ideal base for the casual rambler or the more ambitious Munro bagger.
Oban, Mull, Glen Coe, Fort William and Ben Nevis are all within easy reach.
