Curacao is situated at the edge of the village of Taynuilt, close to Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan, the famous hollow mountain. Approximately 30 miles from Crianlarich and only 12 miles from the holiday town of Oban on the west coast of Scotland, Taynuilt is an excellent holiday base, within easy reach of fishing, walking and boating, on the mains bus and train route from Oban to Glasgow or Fort William, and close to the ferries to the Western Isles.

The accommodation, sleeping 4-6 is furnished and equipped to a high standard with electric heaters throughout and colour tv.dvd, two bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin room), lounge/dining area, kitchen with microwave, fridge and gas cooker, and shower room with toilet, shower and half bath. Decking and patio area with garden furniture give the opportunity to relax out of doors.

The local village shops include a Grocer/Delicatessen, Butcher, Hairdresser, Antiques and Outdoor Wear. Relax and enjoy delicious home baking in the 'Robins Nest' tearoom after a picturesque walk to the shores of Loch Etive. Play a round of golf on the local 9 hole golf course, or visit the historic Bonawe Iron Furnace. Oban is the local shopping town with a swimming pool, sports centre, hotels and restaurants.
