Hawes Cottage
Hawes Cottage has recently been renovated to provide comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 4/5 people. It has a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom in which a fifth bed can be erected. We can also provide a cot if necessary.
There is a comfortable living room with a log fire. The cottage has satellite TV, CD player, a few board games and books about the surrounding area for use of guests. The kitchen is well equipped with a conventional oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The cottage is heated by an oil-fired central heating system and the cost of all fuel is included in the price.
There is a telephone for both outgoing and incoming calls and we rely on the honesty of our guests to meet the cost of this.
The location is peaceful and picturesque, surrounded by forest and farmland. There are many miles of forest track on the doorstep, which are ideal for walking and cycling.
The location is in Loch Lomond National Park, four miles north of Drymen and eight miles south of Aberfoyle. There are many outdoor activities available within a 10 mile radius. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, the Trossachs and Loch Lomond are all within easy reach by car.
On arrival there will be a small welcome pack available and there is information on things to do and see in the locality available in the cottage.
Bedlinen and towels are provided.
The property has a child-safe garden and private parking.
Above all we want you to have a comfortable and peaceful vacation and we feel we have made Hawes Cottage the ideal location for that. The rest will be up to you!
