Ballindalloch North Lodge

Ballindalloch is situated on the outskirts of Balfron, a small village surrounded by fields. The lodge house itself dates back to 1894 and has been completely upgraded in 2003 to form two good sized bedrooms, one en suite, large living dining room, garden and deck area. Parking. The lodge forms part of the old Ballindalloch estate. It is a host to a wealth of wildlife and bird life. Perfectly situated for the Loch Lomond National Park which is 5 mins away. Also the Trossachs and Stirling which is 25 minutes away with its famous historic castle and good shopping. To the north and all within easy reach is a mass of mountains. For the more energetic a real host of Munros (mountains over 3000ft) exists. Easier walks are abundant particularly around Aberfoyle and the Trossachs. To the south (15 mins) is Glengoyne Distillery where guided tours and drams are available free to guests at Ballindalloch. Don't forget to bring the golf clubs. Balfron has its own 18 hole course and there are six other courses within 30 mins.
