Cullya-Quoy
Newly built during 2005 Cullya-Quoy is very spacious, cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Only 200 metres from the shore, it enjoys an uninterrupted panorama of Houton Bay and Scapa Flow. Situated roughly mid way between Kirkwall and Stromness it is an ideal base for exploring Orkney’s many Visitor Attractions – the majority of which are located in Orkney’s West Mainland.
It sleeps up to 6 Adults plus an Infant.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite shower, sink and wc. The single beds in both the other bedrooms can be joined – by prior request - to form Super-King size Doubles. All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.
The very spacious open-plan living room/kitchen includes a dining recess with dining table which seats up to 8. The inclusion of a wide cushioned window seat under the main window enables 12 to be comfortably seated in the lounge area without cluttering it with furniture. This house is ideal for guests who would like to entertain Orkney friends or relatives.
The modern fully equipped kitchen is large enough for 3 adults to work in jointly. French windows lead from the living room to steps down to a paved patio area – with outdoor seating – which is sheltered on 2 sides by the house. The generously sized garden has a very large lawn, but there is now increasing colour interest in the Flower Beds. A variety of outdoor games are provided for kids & teens – as well as the Young-At-Heart!
The very sheltered Houton Bay, complete with launch slip, is an ideal location for watersports enthusiasts - windsurfers, canoeists, dinghy sailors etc - bring your own boat!
