Friendly family run traditional country inn of great historical interest with ample off road parking. This striking historic building Faces towards Balquhidder, Loch Voil, the western hills and the setting sun.
Situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park near to Rob Roy's grave and halfway between Callander and Killin (on the Rob Roy Way).
Spectacular mountain scenery abounds and the area is renowned for hillwalking, fishing, golf , watersports and we are located on the Route 7 cycle track.
Only an hour or so from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Oban, Fort William and Loch Lomond.
The hotel accommodation consists of seven rooms, five doubles, one twin & one family room. All the bedrooms are en-suite, furnished in a homely cottage style and two have four poster beds.
The Kings James Lounge Bar is adjacent to the dining ares and the popular Rob Roy Bar with its open fire and traditional ambience is at the other end of the building. Both bars boast a hand picked selection of the finest malt whiskies from all parts of the Highlands and Islands. A well balanced bar menu is complemented by a snack menu and a take away service.
