Bay House Hotel - Images

Bay House Hotel is ideally situated for walking, golf, fishing, cycling. We have 2 spacious double / family rooms, one being sea view, both have a double bed, single bed and a Z bed is available, as is a travel cot. These rooms have a large en-suite and are on the 2nd floor.A double room is on the 2nd floor, sea views and en-suite.The single room on the 1st floor has sea views, a wash hand basin and shower in the room, the toilet is down 10 stairs.
Two twin rooms are on the 1st floor as is the spacious guest lounge.All rooms have kettles and hospitality trays.

Welcome to the wonderful view from our front garden. We look out to the Islands of Bute & Arran & on a clear day can see Ailsa Craig. You might be lucky to see Naval ships and Submarines on their deployments to & from the Naval base at Faslane.


West Bay viewed from our garden.

This is the West Bay where Bay House Hotel is situated on the traffic free promenade. Peaceful yet only a few minutes walk from the town, local amenities, crazy golf and children's swing park. The hills in the distance are Bishop's Glen only a short distance away but wonderful country walks with an abundance of wild life.

One of 2 family/double rooms, this one with sea views. Both rooms have a double bed, single bed and ample space for a Z bed, we also have travel cot. Both rooms have a large en-suite.

Our guest lounge on the first floor with amazing views over the Firth of Clyde. Relax in the peaceful surroundings or while away a few hours doing one of the jigsaws or playing one of the many games that are available, also a large selection of books available to borrow.

Benmore Gardens

Benmore Botanical Gardens, a short distance out of Dunoon, an enjoyable, interesting and fun day for children with fantastic plants to see and walks with amazing scenery. A very nice cafe then to refresh yourself afterwards.

Puck's Glen on a sunny, snowy, wintry day

Puck's Glen, a place nearby to go for a wonderful walk all year round, amazing views to be seen. This photo taken on a cold, sunny, snowy day in the winter. One of the walks brings you onto the main road opposite Benmore Gardens where you can rest and refresh yourself in the cafe.

Beautiful, Benmore Botanic Gardens, so interesting and plenty to see for young & old, for children it's a good nature walk, plenty to see & learn.

The QE2 on one of her last cruises around the UK, sailing past Dunoon on her way from Greenock.
