Ravenshill House Hotel

Ravenshill is a beautifully converted family-run hotel within a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Lockerbie.
Built in 1874 as a home for the factor of the Estate of Lockerbie, Ravenshill has been attractively converted to a family-run hotel which boasts many traditional features. The hotel has been lovingly restored to preserve much of its natural beauty, while carefully updated with all modern comforts.
The hotel has eight individual double, twin and family rooms, all complete with digital television, tea and coffee facilities and hairdryers. Free wireless internet is also available. For that special occasion, there is a room with a four- poster bed or if you are travelling as a group, two adjoining rooms are available to ensure your party can stay close-by. Excellent food is served in a cosy and warm atmosphere in the evenings and can be enjoyed in the dining room or by a log fire in the lounge. On a Friday night, there is a popular carvery featuring fresh local produce which is always a favourite with guests.
With numerous golf courses, cycling paths, forest treks and coastal walks in the area, there is plenty to get you out and about. The area also boasts a number of fascinating historic properties just a short distance from the hotel, which is only around 14 miles away from the bustling town of Dumfries.
