The Aberdour Hotel is based in the town of Dumfries in the beautiful south west of Scotland. We cater to a wide range of customers throughout the year whether you are here on holiday or to 'close that important business deal' or perhaps just to enjoy a few days golfing, you'll be assured of a great stay. A genuine warm welcome awaits you in our recently refurbished family run hotel which is just five minutes away from the town centre but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Many of our customers visit the Aberdour purely for the excellent food within the stylish surroundings of our Dining Room and enjoy the electric choice of fresh local produce. As well as our set menu, we do many special meals, including a Sunday Lunch and a carvery. Vegetarian choices are also available.

We have twelve tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with private facilities, featuring all the comforts expected by today's guests. Most rooms are en-suite and all have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board. We can also provide hair-dryers and other facilities on request.

The Aberdour Hotel also caters for wedding parties and we have an ideal venue for your special day. We will gladly help out with all aspects of planning your wedding and will make sure that your big day goes as smoothly as possible. We can assist you with organising flowers, taxis, hairdressers, or even traditional Scottish pipers - just ask and we will make sure that everything is in place for you. There is extensive car parking facilities available.

If you are looking for a venue to host that special party or that critical business meeting our function room is ideal. It is recently refurbished and well equipped to take up to 80 guests.

For our holiday visitor there are a multitude or reasons to visit Dumfries and Galloway. Many people visit the region to learn more about Robert Burns, Scotland's National Poet, who lived and worked in the area for many years of his life and a visit to his farm at Ellisland is a must for any follower of his work. The area boasts of miles of un-spoilt beaches along the Solway Coast at Southerness and Sandyhills. Many of our visitors visit for golfing breaks and with 32 golf courses to choose from in the region you will find yourself spoilt for choice to work on your technique or just play a little relaxing holiday golf.
