Pool House Hotel - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Gairloch Tourist Information centre turn left out of the entrance. 40m ahead you will see a junction, by the Wildcat stores, turn left. Follow this road for 6 miles until you reach Poolewe. Pool House is in the middle of the village by the bridge, approximate time 10 minutes.
Getting There by Railway
From Achnasheen follow the A832 and the signs for Gairloch. Poolewe is a further 6 miles north of Gairloch. Pool House is situated in the centre of the village, just across the bridge on the left hand side. Total distance from Achnasheen to Poolewe is 35 miles.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Dalcross Airport turn left until you reach the A96. Turn right for Inverness, at Inverness turn right onto the A9 for approximately 7 miles until you reach Tore Roundabout. Here, take the A835 for approximately 19 miles passing Dingwall and continue until you reach Garve. 0.5 miles past the village turn left onto the A832, follow this road for 52 miles passing Achnasheen, Kinlochewe, Gairloch until you reach Poolewe, Pool House is in the middle of the village by the bridge.
Getting There by Ferry
From Ullapool, head south on the A835 towards Inverness. After 12 miles turn right at Braemore Junction and follow the road for 39 miles until you reach Poolewe. The hotel is the white building on the right hand side after you pass Inverewe Gardens. Total distance from Ullapool to Poolewe is 52 miles.
