Getting there from the Information Centre

From the Tourist Information Centre at Tarbet or Ardgarten follow A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful where The Drimsynie Estate and Lochgoilhead are signposted. Turn left on to the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching the village The Drimsynie Estate is signposted. The entrance is the 1st on the right. Follow the driveway by the golf course to reception.

From Glasgow follow the A82 Loch Lomond road to Tarbet, continue on the A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful. Follow A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful where The Drimsynie Estate and Lochgoilhead are signposted. Turn left on to the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching the village The Drimsynie Estate is signposted. The entrance is the 1st on the right. Follow the driveway by the golf course to reception.

Getting There by Railway

The nearest train station is Tarbet, Loch Lomond - 12 miles from Lochgoilhead.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Glasgow Airport follow signs for The Erskine Bridge and take the A82 Loch Lomond road to Tarbet, continue on the A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful. Follow A83 to the top of the Rest and be Thankful where The Drimsynie Estate and Lochgoilhead are signposted. Turn left on to the B828 which becomes the B839. On approaching the village The Drimsynie Estate is signposted. The entrance is the 1st on the right. Follow the driveway by the golf course to reception. Just over 1 hour from the airport.

Getting There by Ferry

Some people opt for the scenic 20 minute ferry ride from Gourock to Hunters Quay by Dunoon. Discount tickets available if booked in advance by calling reservations on 01301 703 247. £9 per car including passengers. Lochgoilhead is 50 minutes north of Hunters Quay on a beautiful drive via Loch Eck.
