Knockderry House Hotel

Knockderry House is a 4 star country house hotel idyllically placed on the banks of Loch Long in Cove, Argyll and Bute and is one of Scotland’s hidden treasures. With wide panoramic views of the Argyllshire hills and the famous Firth of Clyde this historic building was built as a summer house for the Anderson family in 1846 and was further developed in 1897 by William Leiper. This ‘B’ listed building has some outstanding examples of stained glass by Guthrie Jnr, and the accommodation available today is no less impressive with rooms decorated and furnished to match the age and style of the building.
Whether you come for business or pleasure, special occasion or a spur-of-the-moment escape, the welcome will always be warm, the service attentive yet discreet and the dining everything you would expect from an AA rosette award-winning restaurant.
The hotel is within easy reach of Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne and the historic town of Inveraray, yet it is less than an hour’s drive from Glasgow and less from Glasgow Airport.
