Border Hotel

The Border Hotel was built in 1750 as a coaching inn. With a thatched roof, beamed ceilings and log fires in winter it is an ideal venue as a country break.
Ideally situated for touring the Scottish Borders and for visiting Northumberland castles. It is also in a prime location for guests who wish to fish the River Tweed, play golf on the nearby courses or who enjoy country sports.
The Border Hotel has been voted CAMRA pub of the Year for 2009, 2010 & 2011 for the Scottish Borders.
Our restaurant is available for weddings, anniversaries and family parties. Philip Blackburn the chef proprietor uses local produce on the menu with seasonal dishes available on specials boards. Our local staff look forward to welcoming you to the Border Hotel.
Listed in the Good Beer Guide 2011/12 Good Pub Guide 2005 - 2012.
