Deeside Hotel

Front of hotel

Featured in the Good Hotel Guide 2010, this late Victorian residence is set within an acre of grounds in the picturesque village of Ballater, Royal Deeside. The resident owners offer a warm welcome with comfortable en-suite rooms, excellent Scottish food and fine selections of whiskies and wines. The lounge has log fires and leather sofas and red squirrels can be seen from the conservatory restaurant.

Welcome to the Deeside Hotel, a small, personally run hotel nestling in the stunning surroundings of the Cairngorm National Park.
The owners, Gordon and Penella, have maintained the character and ambience of the original Victorian house whilst ensuring your comfort with modern bathrooms, open log fires and individual touches such as complimentary sherry in the library and homemade shortbread with cafetière coffee in your room.
Dining is based on the seasons, both in terms of ambience and menu. In the summer guests breakfast and dine in the light and airy conservatory, overlooking our lovely walled garden and enjoy fresh herbs and soft fruit from the garden. In the winter our candlelit restaurant is warmed by open log fires and the menu offers Scottish game, warming soups and puddings.

Not all of our rooms are available to book on-line so if you have special requirements or cannot see availability please call us. See our website www.deesidehotel.co.uk for details.
