24 Lower Shader is a cosy and comfortable house in a small village on the North West of the Island, about 17 miles from Stornoway. The house was originally the family croft built in the 1920's and completely renovated in the 1990's.
It is within walking distance of the shore and is in an ideal position for walkers, bird watchers and touring the island.
The house which sleeps 4 to 6 people consists of 2 public rooms, 2 bedrooms, a downstairs bathroom and kitchen. There are two storage heaters and other electrical heaters and there is also the option of using the open fire in the living room and the stove in the kitchen. Much of the furniture in the second public room which can be used as a dining room or third bedroom is original. The hallway has a variety of old farming tools displayed on the walls.
