Getting there from the Information Centre
From Newton Stewart Tourist Office take A75 east signposted Dumfries for 6 miles then take left turn at Creetown carry on for 1 mile up road, cottage 1st house on right.
Getting There by Railway
From Garryhill Railway Station, follow road into Barrhill Village, turn right st T junction head for Newton Stewart, after reaching Newton Stewart pass Police Station on right. Turn left at next T junction over narrow bridge. Keep going out of town until next T junction then turn right and immediately left on to A75 signposted Dumfries, after 5 miles turn left into Creetown carry on for 1 mile .Cottage on right, (first house).
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Prestwick Airport exit airport car park, turn right. At first roundabout take 2nd exit, half mile 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit signposted Stranraer. Continue on this road through 2 roundabouts taking road to Stranraer. At 3rd roundabout take 1st exit for Castle Douglas, continue for 50 meters to Castle Douglas. Take A75 westbound signposted Stranraer for 25 miles, turn right into Creetown pass clock tower and bridge. Cottage 1st house on left at brow of hill.
Getting There by Ferry
From Cairnryan take the A77 onto the A75 eastbound signposted Dumfries for approximately 40 miles past Newton Stewart, for 6 miles take left at Creetown 1 mile up road. Cottage 1st house on right.
