There is a good local bus service and a village pub nearby. The Solway Coast is a short distance away with a variety of bird life, especially in autumn and winter. Ruthwell is only 30 minutes from Gretna Green and the M74 motorway and is only 2 hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Annan is the nearest town only 15 minutes away by car.
This traditionally stone built ground level cottage is detached and has its own small garden with private parking for 3-4 cars. It has its own outhouse which can be used to secure belongings and bicycles.
Inside the cottage has spacious accommodation ideal for family or small groups. The property is heated throughout and can sleep 6 comfortably within 3 bedrooms. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and automatic washing machine. Bed linen included. Recently renovated and redecorated. Colour television and video/DVD player and freeview provided with a supply of videos. Also children's toys and books supplied for your entertainment.
