Getting there from the Information Centre
From Bowmore Tourist Information Centre take road heading north, parallel to coast, at Bridgend ignore branch to left continue northwards for 5 miles, pass Ballygrant sign, continue for about 400 yards, Craigard is on left beside village shop.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Islay Airport take left turn on to A836, drive through Bowmore and Bridgend keeping to A836, 5 miles past Bridgend see the Ballygrant sign, pass cluster of houses on both side of road, road rises for 200 yards, on left beside village shop.
Getting There by Ferry
From Port Askaig take the A836 for approximately 3 miles, pass the Ballygrant sign Craigard is a further 250 yards, beside village shop on right. From Port Ellen take the A836 heading north follow the road through Bowmore Village to Bridgend. The road splits at Bridgend but keep heading north east, pass the Ballygrant sign, Craigard is 400 yards on left beside village shop.
