Craigard Holiday Accommodation

Luxury cottage in its own grounds and three spacious flats, each with its own front door, in rural village. Just half a mile from the village centre the cottage is surrounded by croft land. You can watch wintering geese graze alongside sheep and enjoy magnificent views of the Paps of Jura. With a coal fire for winter nights, a barbeque for summer and lots of extras Robolls Croft, the first self catering property on Islay to be awarded 5 stars, is a special place for a special holiday. In Ballygrant village the three well equipped flats in a Victorian stone building provide warm, comfortable accommodation convenient to shop and bus stop. They also give groups of up to 17 people the opportunity to stay in close proximity.
From Ballygrant you can visit the island's renowned distilleries, abandon your car for popular walking routes in wildlife rich countryside, explore nearby Finlaggan where mediaeval Lords of the Isles held council, fish in any of the seven trout lochs or enjoy the island's fine beaches.
Properties are within five minutes walk of local inn, three miles from Port Askaig for ferries to Jura and Colonsay. Linen provided, electricity included, cycle shed/drying room. Group terms, short breaks available.
