Getting there from the Information Centre

From Portree Tourist Information Centre, head north on the A87, bear left onto the A850 Dunvegan Road, turn right on the B8036 in 2km, cottage on right.

Getting There by Railway

The world famously scenic Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh line will take you close to Skye. Get a bus or taxi from there, or arrange car hire for the remaining 35 miles (56km).

Getting there by Aeroplane

Inverness Airport is around 2.5 hours drive from the cottage. Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are 5 to 6 hours drive.

Getting There by Ferry

An alternative route from Fort William is the Road to the Isles which takes you to Mallaig for the ferry to South Skye. Check timetables for car transport seasonal limitations. From Armadale ferry terminal the cottage is 1.5 hours by car. Service bus also available.
