This traditional stone-built cottage is situated just 100 yards from picturesque Carrick Bay, making it the perfect place to unwind. Sleeping up to seven guests, Carrick Cottage boasts three bedrooms ranging from double to family rooms, and is particularly child friendly with bunk beds, a travel cot, high chair and folding bed available on request. The cottage is comfortable and elegantly furnished throughout offering a bright and spacious living area and exceptionally equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and an array of crockery and utensils.
Outside, there’s ample car parking space, clothes drying facilities and a pretty garden and patio area with attractive furniture and barbecue facilities. Views from the cottage are magnificent and nothing can set off an evening’s al fresco dining like a magnificent sunset. Explore the unspoiled and natural beauty of Carrick Bay and the serene sandy beach which is suitable for swimming from. If you can drag yourself away from the peace and quiet of the beach, pretty Gatehouse of Fleet and the Artists’ Town of Kirkcudbright are nearby where you can explore craft shops, stock up on local produce, tee off and take in some fantastic views on the golf course and dine out in style.
