Rose Cottage - Sleeps 2
Rose holiday cottage is a large and spacious detached single storey cottage on the west side of the courtyard which sleeps 2 people, with king size bed room. Rose Cottage has windows overlooking the courtyard and the grounds to the west of the house. The accommodation consists of a spacious open plan L shaped living/kitchen area with a cosy living flame fire, perfect to retreat to at the end of a day exploring this beautiful part of the West Coast of Scotland.
One bedroom with king sized double bed. Bathroom with bath, power body shower, sink and toilet. Rose now also features an ipod with music and docking station.
Holly Cottage- Sleeps 4
This bright and cheerful cottage is the left end of the same building as Garden and Honeysuckle cottages. It has views in two directions, into the courtyard and over the semi-formal gardens. The ground floor consists of a spacious open plan living room kitchen area. The kitchen has an integrated slimline dishwasher. The first floor has a double bedroom, a bunk bedroom and a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and a toilet. We have over 300 DVD's, board games and a large selection of books and guides for the local area available in reception.
Garden Cottage- Sleeps 4
This spacious cottage is entirely on the ground floor and is in the same building as Holly and Honeysuckle cottages. It has views in three directions, into the courtyard, and into the semi-formal gardens. There is a large living room/dining area, a fully fitted kitchen with slimline dishwasher, two twin bedded bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet.
Clematis Cottage- Sleeps 2
Clematis self catering cottage in Taynuilt is a very spacious semi-detached self catering cottage with plenty of old world charm. This beautifully decorated cottage joins on to the main house by its narrow end. It has stunning view down Loch Etive through the recently thinned trees at the front and views in to the courtyard to the other side.
It consists of a spacious open plan kitchen /living area with a cosy living flame fire, a lovely super king sized bed (can be made as a twin by request) and a bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. Clematis is a perfect retreat to at the end of a day exploring this beautiful part of the West Coast of Scotland.
Clematis now also features an ipod with music and docking station.
Etive View- Sleeps 6
This very large apartment is on the second floor of the main house (the 5 top left hand row of windows in the photograph above). It boasts superb views north and west over Loch Etive and the surrounding hills and views south over the courtyard to Ben Cruachan. It is reached via a staircase from the reception room (the old servant stairs). There are three very large bedrooms, a spacious lounge, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and bathroom/shower room. There is also plenty of additional storage space in this apartment.
Hydrangea Cottage- Sleeps 5
This bright and cheerful detached single storey cottage is situated on the east side of the courtyard with views south over the semi-formal gardens and west through the courtyard. There is a large open plan living/kitchen area with dishwasher, three bedrooms, one with king sized bed, one with bunk beds and one with a single bed. Bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet and a tiled floor with under-floor heating.
Honeysuckle Cottage- Sleeps 4
This very spacious cottage is on the first floor of the same building as Holly and Garden cottages. It is reached by an outside staircase. It has views in three directions; into the courtyard; over the grounds on that side of the house; into the semi-formal gardens and over the hills beyond.
There is a bright and spacious sitting room with living flame fire, a large farmhouse style kitchen/dining area with a full size fitted dishwasher, one king size bedroom (can be made into singles on request), one twin bedroom and a new fitted bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet.
Honeysuckle also features an ipod with music and docking station.
The Edwardian Wing -Sleeps 4
This is the "Flagship" accommodation ( both floors of the right-hand wing of the house in the picture above). There is a separate entrance from the gardens to an entrance hall with downstairs cloakroom and utility room with automatic washing machine and tumble drier. A magnificent oak panelled drawing room, with feature fireplace, bay windows and polished wooden floors. Either listen to the CD hi-fi player, or make your own music on the piano. A luxurious fitted kitchen/dining room including dishwasher and microwave. On the first floor the huge main bedroom is quite simply a stunning airy double bedded room, the second bedroom (still larger than most main bedrooms) has two single divan beds. There is also a magnificent period bathroom with toilet and traditional bath and shower, and underfloor heating. No pets are permitted in The Edwardian Wing
