Achue is set back off the road so no traffic, no noise (except curlews calling) and no neighbours (except sheep)

The living room seats 6 and has a TV, video and music centre. The original thick stone walls keep the room cool in summer and cosy in winter.

The downstairs master bedroom has a kingsize bed and en suite shower room. It is on the ground floor.

The cottage is enclosed within it sown dry stane dyke with mature trees round about giving a sheltered seating area with superb views over the hills to the south

The view from the hill behind Achue looking south shows the panoramic views enjoyed from the front of the house. You are welcome to explore the land round about but watch out for grouse starting up from beneath your feet.

The stone at the entrance shows you the way.

The garden has matured over the years and now attracts wildlife as well as providing a safe and relaxing oasis of peace.

The kitchen has gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier as well as kettle, toaster and food processor.
