Kirkwood Holiday Cottages
Stay in a beautiful self-catering cottage on a peaceful working farm close to Lockerbie and Annan.
These individual cottages are full of character and situated on Kirkwood, a working farm surrounded by rolling hills, lush fields and beautiful woods. Sleeping three to six guests, the cottages vary in size but all boast a spacious living and dining area with TV, DVD and CD player and fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and kitchenware. Bedrooms are fully made up with linen and towels available on request. A shared laundry room is equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, chest freezer and secure storage space, and a large games room is open to all guests for a game of table tennis, darts or snooker.
Enjoy a ‘farm life experience’ and visit the local animals, wander amongst the rolling hills and enjoy salmon and trout fishing on the loch. Many guests don’t even leave Kirkwood as there is so much to do on the estate; whether you are interested in country sports or quad biking, wildlife watching or spa treatments. Situated 5 miles from Lockerbie and the thriving market town of Annan, there is plenty of local history, shops, pubs and restaurants to discover. Dumfries is also only 10 miles away where there is a wealth of attractions to explore, including a number of properties connected to Robert Burns, where you can learn more of the bard’s extensive links with the region.
