The Rowans

The Rowans is a lovely, spacious Victorian end row house (built circa. 1820), beautifully situated on a double lot in Tobermory’s upper village, with sweeping views of Tobermory Bay, The Sound of Mull, and the hills of Morvern from every room. It appears as “The Weaver’s House” on the British Fisheries Society map of 1790. Just a few doors down from Spencer the Painter’s house, it is a 5 minute walk to the harbour, seafront, shops, restaurants and golf course.

The ground floor has a bright, spacious living / dining room, a new fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, washing machine, and tumble dryer), and a new shower room with toilet. The living / dining room has comfortable seating with a fireplace and colour television. The dining table and chairs are next to a large picture window overlooking the garden and bay. A very special feature on the ground floor is the recently built sun porch, which is the perfect place to relax and admire some of the finest views in Tobermory. The sun porch opens onto a tile patio and large private walled garden.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms (one of which has a double and one single bed) and a bathroom with bathtub, electric shower and toilet. One the second floor there are two single bedrooms. All bedrooms have wash-hand basins and again, fabulous views.

Heating and hot water are by Total Control. There is ample street parking in front of The Rowans
