Askalong - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Tourist Information Centre turn left onto Esplanade follow road out of town on A970 north towards Hillswick the road forks about 3 miles from Askalong, head towards Ollaberry, on top of the hill you will see a sign marked Gluss and Bardister, follow Bardister signs, until you come down to the sea. A small wooden sign at the bottom of a rough track road says Midfield, the house is at the topof this road.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Sumburgh Airport, follow the main A970 north towards Hillswick, the road forks about 3 miles from Askalong. Head towards Ollaberry, on top of the hill you will see a sign marked Gluss and Bardister, follow Bardister signs until you com down to the sea, a small wooden sign at the bottom of a rough track road, says Midfield, the house is at the top of this road.
