Cloverknowe Cottages

Cloverknowe Cottage (Sleeps 2-8 adults)
A beautiful newly renovated 4* sandstone cottage quietly situated on our working farm. Cloverknowe offers well equipped, flexible accommodation allowing a self contained, ground floor flat for 2. Accommodation comprises: 2 large kitchen/living areas with open fires, 2 en suite bedrooms with zip and link twin beds, 2 double bedrooms, separate bathroom and toilet. Easy access, large private grounds and ample parking. Sea views to the Firth of Forth. This cottage is non smoking . Well behaved dogs are welcome by agreement.

Dovecothall (Sleeps 2-5)
An attractive 19th Century cottage situated on the outskirts of Cockburnspath. The 3* single storey sandstone cottage was upgraded in 2004 and the accommodation comprises: garden-room; separate living-room; fitted kitchen with dining table; double bedroom with en suite bathroom; large bedroom with double and single bed and a separate toilet with shower. Smoking permitting in living areas. Well behaved dogs welcome by agreement.

Both properties provide ample space for a family or group of friends to relax and enjoy the private garden and views. The village shop is within walking distance of the cottages.

The area provides a good base to tour the Lothians, Borders and Northumberland (all of which can be accessed within one hour by car). Edinburgh city centre is 22 minutes by train from Dunbar (8 miles to the north). There you will be able to enjoy the world famous castle, Edinburgh Festival and Tattoo, Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament, Arthurs Seat and award winning attractions such as Royal Yacht Britannia and Dynamic Earth.

The Borders country is home to beautiful abbeys, country houses, castles and famous towns such as Kelso, Peebles, Melrose, Alnwick, Lindisfarne and Berwick upon Tweed.

The historical fishing ports of Eyemouth, St Abb's, Dunbar and North Berwick have spectacular scenery and benefit from museums and galleries such as the John Muir Birthplace, Scottish Seabird Centre (Bass Rock gannets), Eyemouth Museum and the Scottish Museum of Flight including the newly opened Concorde Experience.

Relaxed lowland and coastal walking including the John Muir Way, Walter Scott Way and Southern Upland Way are all accessible from the cottages. Dog walking and bird watching opportunities are available at Cove, St Abbs Head, John Muir Country Park and Coldingham Beach, all of which are within 20 minutes drive. Riding, fishing, archery and off road driving are all also available within the local area and over 20 golf courses, from championship courses to 9 hole courses, are within a half hour's drive.
