Ideally situated on a mixed working hill farm offering tranquility without isolation, just one mile from Hawick, shops, restaurants, leisure centre and award winning park. This original semi detached farm workers cottage nestles at the head of a valley which is approached along the farm road which ends at the cottage offering total peace from noise and traffic. A little stream runs in front of the cottage and there are glorious uninterrupted views of the hills and grazing stock. Wiltonburn is a 400 acre mixed farm and we have cattle, sheep, horses, cats, dogs and geese. You might well see red squirrels, rabbits, hares, herons, buzzards and badgers! The cottage retains many of the original features and have open fires in the sitting room, with electric storage and panel heaters in other rooms. There is an enclosed garden with rustic picnic facility and a barbeque.
