Swallow Cottage
Swallow cottage is spacious and well equipped and furnished for four persons. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with colour TV, dining room, bathroom and kitchen with breakfast bar. Kitchen equipment includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. The beds have blankets, quilts and 2 pillows per person. Both bedrooms have a dressing table with drawers and a hanging rail. On the landing there is a large built in hanging cupboard and one with shelves. Linen and towels can be provided on request.
Although close to Melrose (11/2 miles), Galashiels (3 miles) and Selkirk (6 miles), the situation is entirely peaceful. The cottage is reached by a narrow road which serves only the 3 farms along it and Cotgreen.
