Hillview (Peebles)
Hillview has an open outlook to the front over the hills, and at the back there is a pleasant garden, also with lovely views. In the garden there is a summer house which is lovely to sit in on sunny days.
There is a convenience store and a hotel serving bar meals half a mile from the bungalow. There is also a bus service to the centre of town where you can catch the bus which goes to Edinburgh city centre hourly, also hourly to Galashiels and Melrose.
Hillview is a detached house built in the late 1960’s. It is situated on a privately owned residential estate one mile from the centre of Peebles and 100 yards from the town’s boundary where there are lovely woodland walks for your morning or evening stroll.
The house has an open outlook to the front over the surrounding hills. At the back there is a pleasant garden also with lovely views over the hills. The garden is completely enclosed by a high hedge and brick wall. There is also a summer house which is lovely to sit in on sunny days. The garage is joined onto the house and if parking is required for a second car there is a parking area across from the house.
There is a Spar concenience store half a mile from the house. There is also a bus service to the centre of town where you can catch the bus which goes to Edinburgh City Centre hourly. The bus also goes hourly to Galashiels and Melrose.
Hillview consists of a large lounge with dining area which has a gas coal effect fire set in a slate fireplace. 32 inch plasma TV with DVD and video. The spacious bathroom is fully equipped with a walk in shower. 6ft bath, wash basin and toilet.
The kitchen is large enough to dine in and has patio doors out to the garden. The kitchen is fully fitted with the electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. In the utility/ boiler room there is a gas boiler for the central heating and water with washing machine, spin dryer, and tumble dryer.
Hillview has four bedrooms. Two en-suite upstairs, one with a double and single bed, the other has 2 single beds. The other two are downstairs, one has a 5 ft double bed and one with 2 single beds. Each bed is fitted with duvets and bed linen. Towels are also supplied.
A cot is also supplied but you must bring your own linen for the cot. Eight people can therefore be accommodated comfortably.
The house is available on a weekly bases from Saturday to Saturday and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure to allow time to get ready for new arrivals from 2pm onwards. Arrangements will be made for collection of keys on receipt of full payment for the house or they can be collected from the following people should your booking be at short notice.
Electricity and gas payment is by meter reading - no coins are required and payments should be made when the key is returned at the end of the tenancy.
