Getting there from the Information Centre
From Kingussie tourist information centre at highland folk museum. Turn left along Spey Street until junction with Ruthven Road where turn left. Follow directions as from railway station.
Getting There by Railway
From Kingussie station. Turn right along Ruthven Road, B970 for Insh. Follow road past Ruthven Barracks to Tromie bridge, where road takes a sharp left turn. Watch for finger sign to Drumguish. Turn right off B970, up hill through pine wood. On emerging from wood, the entry to Aonach is 1st on the left. Aonach is the 2nd of 2 modern bungalows.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness airport. Follow signs to Inverness, then A9 south towards Perth. Turn off at Kingussie. Take B970 for Insh along Ruthven Road, past railway station. Follow directions from railway station.
