The Chalet is situated south of Ullapool in the former crofting village of Braes.
The Chalet is fully timber lined and has a bright, comfortable open plan living area with well equipped kitchen.
It has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4. Heating is all electric, the cost of which is included in the rent. It sits among the trees in a small garden area at the bottom of our croft.
The property benefits from private parking and beautiful views across Loch Broom. It provides an ideal base for hill-walking, bird watching, a trip over the Minch to the Western Isles, fishing trips (sea, loch and river are available locally), or touring the NW Highlands.
In the village you will find good restaurants, pubs, (many with live music), a leisure centre with swimming pool and games facilities and lots of local craft shops where you can browse for the afternoon.
The local museum tells you of the history of Lochbroom and there are a couple of excellent bookshops to supply the latest novels, should you prefer to just sit at home and read.
