Balcary Mews Cottage - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Castle Douglas take the rear exit out of the car park and turn right down Queen Street. Take the 2nd left out of Castle Douglas at the T junction, then turn left at the crossroads and right onto the A711. At Auchencairn turn immediately left over the bridge and follow Shore Road to the car park then turn left under the archway into the courtyard of Balcary Mews.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer take the A75 east out of Stranraer for approximately 60 miles then turn right into Castle Douglas. Turn right past Carlingwark Loch and take the 1st right at the T junction, left at the crossroads and right onto the A711 into Auchencairn. Take a left along Shore Road immediately after the bridge at the public car park, left through the archway into courtyard.
