This traditional style semi-detached croft cottage is situated in the quiet crofting community of Melvaig. The cottage is approximately 200 yards from the shore. Melvaig has a cafe bar/restaurant with another tea room nearby. The area attractions include Inverewe Gardens, whale-watching trips, , salmon, trout and sea fishing, golf course and pony trekking, is approx. 20 minutes away. The coastline around Melvaig and to the Rua Reidh Lighthouse (approx. 4 miles) is rugged, a haven for nesting birds, seals, whales and otters. The cottage overlooks the sea and the Western Isles of Skye, Harris and Lewis. The Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve and the Torridon mountains are just a short distance away. All amenities including hotels, restaurants, shops, garage, doctors and a dental surgery can be found in Gairloch. Fishing trips and guided hill walks available by prior arrangement.
