snowdrops at Aigas - March 2011

Spring is a lovely time at Aigas especially when the snowdrops and daffodils are in full bloom.

Then come the mass of bluebells and yellow gorse in May and June.

Beautiful autumn colours at Aigas

This hole is called The beeches. The beech trees are at their best in the autumn.

In the distance you can see the trees on Aigas Island and where the River Beauly disappears from view into the spectacular gorge.

A new foal at Aigas 2010

We sometimes have ponies, sheep and cows grazing at Aigas. If you are lucky you might see our local hares, Otters, kingfishers, osprey and peregrine.

Our local village, Beauly, is only 5 miles down the glen and has everything you need.
